The War Game That Changed Everything
SPEAKER_00One of the most powerful armies on Earth walked into a NATO war game and got wiped out. Not by a missile, not by a fighter jet, but by a drone swarm where each drone costs 500 bucks. Less than the phone in your pocket. Literally a little machine you could just about build in a garage, took out equipment worth tens and hundreds of millions of dollars. And the part that should make you sit up or maybe lie down like Winston's about to, is that the officer who ran the exercise, he didn't try to bury it. No. He wrote the whole thing down, and the title put on the report was just three words. We lost. Good. Good. How on earth is losing a war good? Well, he had just seen the future of war with his own eyes, and he wanted the West to wake up before it was too late. Now, this is where it touches your money. The US dollar hasn't been backed by gold since 1971. Thank you, Nixon. So what actually backs it? Well, one thing. The promise that the American military is the biggest, baddest force on the planet. Every barrel of oil on Earth gets priced in dollars, and that whole arrangement sits on top of that military promise. And that promise just got humbled by a toy. And in the same stretch, quietly, America's emergency oil stockpile dropped to a level it hadn't seen since the early 1980s. Most people saw these as three separate stories: weird war game, boring oil number, and a few stocks going a bit crazy. We're going to get onto which ones they are in a second. But they're not three stories. They're actually one story. And once you understand why the old world order is shifting under your feet, and most importantly, the one company sitting right at the center of what comes next, you're in a better position to make better decisions.
Why The Dollar Runs On Trust
SPEAKER_00My name is Felix Preen, I'm an ex-investment bank and economist. Down there is Winston, if you take my word for it that he's still there. Head of research, of course. He's uh he's off duty because we had a nice hike this morning. We're going to show you why the petrol dollar is cracking. Well, it's quietly replacing the old kind of power and the pure place stock built right into this machine in plain English, no finance degree required.
Free Research Report And Why It Matters
SPEAKER_00Now, before we go deep, I want to make sure this is genuinely useful for you, not just sort of interesting. So I put together a full research report on all of this: the petrodollar, why it's cracking, the stock shifting, the opportunities, the companies in the middle of it, and every single one of my sources, so you can check my work. It's about 25 pages, it's completely free. There's a link down below the video. You can download it at FelixFriends.org slash petrodollar. Now, of course, Winston is the one who actually did the work, but I'll take the credit. So, what holds up the mighty dollar? Because people don't really understand this properly. When people say the dollar is strong, they think it's about the American economy or interest rates or the Fed. Well, that's part of it. But underneath all of that, there is something older and simpler. Trust. The whole world agreed decades ago to price oil in dollars and to park their savings in American government debt. Why? Because America was safe. America had the biggest military, the most powerful Navy, the factories, the technology. And if you held dollars, you are holding a claim on the strongest country that had ever existed. Nobody was going to mess with that. That's the deal. So it isn't gold, it isn't magic, it is actually muscle. The dollar is backed by the belief that America can protect the system it built. Now, what happens to that belief the day a $500 toy takes out a $10 million tank or a $100 million plane or a multi-billion dollar ship? What happens when the toys start beating the giants? Well, the muscle doesn't look so unbeatable anymore. And when the muscle looks a little shaky, every promise stacked on top of it starts to wobble too. Your dollars, your bonds, the price of everything. And that crack in the war game wasn't a military story, it was a money story. And it's the first sign of a much bigger shift coming. Now, Winston Dunany, so trust me that he's still down there. He has a solution for exactly the problem we just described. Because here's what actually happens, right? You watch a video like this, you nod, you think, yeah, that's uh kind of interesting. I should do something about this. And then Monday comes around and you don't know which button to press. And that's not because you are stupid. No, it's because nobody ever taught you how the wealthy actually do this. And that's the thing that people get wrong, is the thing that frustrates me. They think the rich have some secret list of better stocks. They don't. I've sat in the rooms. I know the wealthy don't have better stocks than you, they have a better system. They have a way of deciding what to buy, how much of it, and how it all fits together so that the shift like the one that we're watching right now makes them richer instead of poorer. And that system is the whole difference. And nobody ever teaches it to ordinary people. You get told, buy and hold an index fund and hope. And that's about it. Which is not terrible advice, but it also isn't particularly brilliant. So I'm gonna hand you that system. This Saturday, I'm going to run a live event, how to invest like the 1% without being one of them. And I'll show you exactly what that system looks like and how to apply it to any size of portfolio. Whether you've got, you know, $10,000 or $500,000 or whatever. It's free. It's live. You can ask me anything. How you join the event, you go to how to invest.org. Links down below. It's how and then number two, invest.org. I know, clever, isn't it? And you grab yourself a free seat. It's on Saturday at 9 a.m. Pacific time. That's 12 noon Eastern time, and it's 5 p.m. if you're in London and you still think it's the center of the world. That link's in the description. It is pinned to the comments, so it's hard to miss it. So you got it booked, good, right? Booked in the comments down below. And let me share you where the money is actually moving.
Oil Reserves Drop As The Deal Wobbles
SPEAKER_00One of my old mentors drilled something into me years ago and he said, follow the energy always. Because oil isn't just the stuff in your car, oil is in everything. The plastic in your phone case, the fertilizer growing your food, which is scary, but it's true. Uh, the ship bringing your furniture across the ocean, the jet flying people to their meetings and vacations, the whole modern world runs on it. But 93 million barrels a day, every single day. So when I tell you that America's emergency oil reserve, called the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, this giant government stash kept for a crisis, just fell to a level it hasn't touched since the early 1980s. It's uh, well, that's the country's rainy day fact, running low, right as the petrodollar system is cracking. So it lands on top of the bigger story. For 50 years, the deal was very, very, very simple. The world buys oil in dollars. The world holds dollars, and America keeps the sea lanes safe so the oil keeps flowing. That's the petrodollar. Oil priced in dollars, protected by American power. But look at what's actually happening now. Countries are cutting side deals to buy and sell oil in their own currencies. They're buying gold instead of parking everything in dollars. They're hedging their bets. Not because they suddenly hate America. No, because they've watched the same war game that I just told you about. And they're asking themselves, is the muscle still there? Is this promise still worth what it used to be? And that's the petrodollar cracking slowly and quietly. Sort of dramatic one-day move, but the way a dam starts to crack and a trickle and then a little stream, and then, you know, all at once. I mean a system that enormous starts to shift. The money doesn't disappear, it just moves around. And your job, my job, is to figure out where it's moving, and it's moving somewhere very, very specific. Moto particulare. I don't know where that's coming from. Anyway, here is where
The New Arms Race Is Drones
SPEAKER_00it's moving. Every government on Earth just got the same wake up call from that war game, and they reached the same conclusion at the same time. The old way of fighting is over. You don't need a $10 million tank when a swarm of cheap drones can find it and kill it before you can say, hallelujah. You do not need to spend 20 years and billions building one of the most exquisite jets of the future when a couple of thousand small, smart, cheap machines can replace it. So the whole world is re-arming, but in a very, very different direction. They're not buying more of the old stuff. They're buying drones, millions of them, eyes in the sky, machines that carry, machines that strike, machines that scout. And it's terrifying, I agree. I don't like it any more than you do. The birds definitely like it a lot less than I do. But these governments need them, and they need them fast, and they need a lot of them. But here's the catch. And this is the important bit for your money. Right now, a huge share of the world's small drones and drone parts and the materials to build them come from China, as Trump says. And Western governments have suddenly realized that's a problem because you're fighting a trade war with them. They're not going to be like, oh, that's all right, we'll send you all the drone parts you want, right? No. If you want to build your national defense on parts that come from a country that, you know, you're squabbling with, it's sort of like buying your home alarm from the local burglar, right? Not saying China is a burglar. It's just a silly, silly uh, you know, analogy. So two things are happening at once. One, the US is slapping tariffs on Chinese drones, taxes that make them more expensive and less welcome. And two, the government's writing rules. You'll hear this term NDAA compliant, which just then means approved for US defense use. Basically, no more Chinese parts inside. I imagine there's no Russian parts or Iranian parts in them either. So American-made drones and American-made components. And that creates overnight a protected home market for anybody who can build the stuff on US soil with US materials. So, what does this mean? A giant government-backed wave of demand. There were millions of these, rules that lock out the cheap competition, and almost nobody's set up to supply it yet. That's about the most wonderful setup you can find as an investor. Demand exploding, competition is shut out, and a tiny handful of companies are standing in the exact right spot by chance. Now, most people hear drone boom and they think, right, I'm going to buy the company that makes the coolest looking drone, and it's usually the wrong one. Why? Because picking the one winning gadget is hard. Remember in the phone walls, there were dozens of handset makers, and most of them are out of business? Well, that's gonna happen here, G. So the smarter play, the one the skilled money reach for, is what I call the tollbooth. Don't try to guess which drone company wins. Own the thing that every drone needs, no matter who makes it. So we're talking motors, the flight controllers, the chips, the sensors, the special magnets, the actual factory that snaps it all together. Because whoever wins the drone wall, they all have to buy the parts. And if you own the parts business, you collect up toll on the entire industry. Matter of how the old line from the gold rush, right? The people who got rich weren't most of the gold miners, no, they just got very thirsty. Uh, it was the chaps selling the picks and the shovels and the jeans. Same idea here. In the new arms race, the picks and shovels are the drone components, the parts. And because these new parts are American parts only, the company that makes those parts on US soil is selling the only shovels the government is allowed to buy. So the question becomes this who is actually doing that?
The Tollbooth Strategy And UMAC
SPEAKER_00Who is the pure play company that isn't a giant defense conglomerate where drones are a rounding error in the business? But one that lives and breathes this exact thing. Well, the name at the center of this is a company called Unusual Machines, ticker symbol UMac. And let me tell you why it keeps coming up. Unusual Machines makes drone components and the motors and parts that go inside the machines, and it's building them to be NDAA compliant, a medicin-made, approved for US defense use. So it's the tourballs we just described. They're not betting on the we're going to make the single window best drone in the world. No, they're selling the picks and the shovels to the whole American drone industry and everybody else to buy from. Let me pull this up actually in the Winston app here. Just type in UMac or Unusual Machines. And here we go. Now it's got a terrible Winston score. We come back to that in a second. Score has improved somewhat, but it's still pretty terrible. And the stock is clearly up quite a lot. From August last year, it's up, well, more than, well, it's almost triple. So you might not be thinking, oh, it's too late. Right? So the smart money is working up to this. What does it tell you? Well, it tells you the story is real. The big money is piling in because they see the same setup that I just walked you through. And the stock that's like tripled is, well, it's not early. This is a small, young, and fast company. It's not some sleepy blue chip. If a 20 or 30% drop a week would make you panic on a stock like this, don't buy it. I'm not a financial advisor. I'm not telling you to buy it. But what I'm saying is interesting what's going on here. But UMag remains the clearest pure play I can point to. And if you look at revenue growth, it is really extraordinary. 687% year-on-year, you know, revenue growth, right? 680%. It was 296% in March, it was 144% in December. So they are really, really, really accelerating. But they're also burning through a heck of a lot of money. They have a lot of money, but they're also burning through it. So they might dilute you. So this is a growth story. This is not a blue chip story. So you have to come to your own conclusion. You want to look at the data and the Winston up in more detail. I'll put a free trial down below so you can play around with it for 30 days. Should be enough to figure out the drone thing. But there is a calmer way, a uh one that's going to let you sleep a little bit better. And the gentler way to write the same way, if instead of betting on one company, is that you buy a basket of them. And that's what an index fund is. Um the Yanks call them ETFs. Is that offensive to say Yanks? Somebody told me it was offensive. I know very little about American history, so please uh please explain it to me. I think it had something to do with the North and South or something. Uh I don't know anything about it, but anyway. So uh if you're offended, um I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm very sorry that I called you a Yank. So the Yanks all right, I can't stop myself sometimes.
Drone ETFs And Safer Exposure
SPEAKER_00So, what's an index fund? It's it's it's you can buy it, you can click one button and you own a couple of dozen companies, usually, right? So one company isn't gonna sync you. And the nice part is you're gonna have to go hunting for these one by one. Um, I'll show you how you can find drone companies. So you go back into the Winston app, you click on funds, and then there's a bunch of filters here, and one of them says drones and warfare for the for the peaceful investors. Um, I have, yeah, select the US. Are there no European drone? I think the U Europe doesn't make any, right? So UK make any as one. Uh Europe is like a like uh an open-air museum for uh for uh innovation in this space, I think. There are actually some European funds, uh companies that make this, but obviously not no funds. So what have you got? Well, you've got a bunch of them here, and the most famous is called UAV, but it's also charging you a crazy fee, really a crazy fee. But it's a pure play drone stock. We also have uh Rex drone ETF, DRNZ, also a pure play, slightly lower fee, which is definitely better. And then most of the other ones are sort of aerospace in defense. You're buying Boeing, which, you know, they're they have drone businesses like 0.01% of revenue, so you're not really getting the kind of pure exposure that you're actually looking for. So there is actually a Europa Defense Technology ETF for our comrades in Europe. Um, we shall we shall compare these three and you get a bit of an idea. First of all, expenses is always what wins, so always buy the cheaper one if possible. Um UAV, I haven't got any data. Interesting. Okay, I'll fix that before the video goes out. Um, this is mostly a US fund, this is mostly a UK fund, mostly Wolls-Royce, Airbus, BAE. So this isn't really a drone, drone ETF, right? It's just labeled as one so they can sell it. This is more of a drone ETF, and it's called DRNZ. I think UAV is the same. Uh Ondus, Unusual Machines, Red Cat, and so on. So that's the ones that I would look at. I'll I'll fill in the data for you on the UAV thing in just a second. Actually, let me make a note of that. So the way I look at this is UMAC is sort of the sharp end, the highest risk, potentially the highest reward. Definitely want to have some pretty good risk management around that. The drone ETFs, your UAV, your DRNZ, uh they're kind of the middle ground of risk here, still drones, so therefore still risky. But they're spread across a lot of names. So one falls out of the sky, it doesn't ruin you completely. And then you can get a lot of other ones uh that are more like just the defense sector as a whole. We're just gonna get a lot of money over the coming years. You can put each one up in the app if you wish. Again, free link down below and and and do some digging around. But let me put on my my serious
Risk Rules So You Can Sleep
SPEAKER_00hat. I should get a hat that says serious on a chimney, uh, because I'd be doing you disservice if I if I didn't. Everything I've shown you is terrifying and exciting, and that's when people get hurt. So, first, I'm not a financial advisor. I don't know your situation. This is me sharing how I see it, not telling you what to do with your money. Second, these are risky, fast-moving, tiny drones flying around in the sky, and the stocks do the same thing. A stock that goes up like 300% in a year can give a big chunk of that back very quickly because one drone falls out of the sky, right? Or someone else does it better. So you've got to size it properly if you are gonna buy some of these. I'm telling you, I'm gonna be very clear on that. You never put money you need next year into something this jumpy. You use money that you can genuinely leave alone that you can afford to lose. And then third, the whole hype thing cuts both ways. So when everyone's excited about a theme, prices can run far ahead of reality and then they can snap back, even if the long-term story is completely right. So being early and being wrong can often feel sort of the same thing. So you want to go in with a plan, know how much you're putting in, knowing what you'll do if it drops, and don't bet the house on a single name. You get those basics right. You can, in my humble opinion, responsibly partake in one of the biggest shifts of the decade without, you know, lying awake at night going, what's UAC doing? Let me hit refresh, let me hit refresh, let me refresh, right? So the best story in the world can hurt you. So let's zoom back out for a second, because the petrol dollar here, oil priced in dollars, backed by American muscle, is cracking. It's not going to happen overnight, but it's genuinely cracking, and the world can see it and feel it. That old muscle, the military edge that held the whole thing up, is being rewritten by cheap smart machines. Look at the war in the Middle East, right? The US is pretty much out of a lot of its defensive missiles. The other side, who's got bag all militaries, just firing cheap little drones at things and blowing things up that cost hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands times more than the teeny tiny little drone. So everybody on earth is watching this. And every government in the world is re-arming to buy teeny tiny little drones, so take the other teeny tiny little drones out of the sky and to buy their own to have some defense. So this is, in my humble opinion, a once-in-a-generation tech shift where defense money is going to flow to a new world. And I think the cleanest way to stand in front of it is the picks and shovels plate that we looked at. It's the parts, the toll booth, right? Um, we ran through some index funds as well. But everything I've just showed you is the easy half. And the hard half is knowing what to actually do with it. And the painful truth is this nobody tells you. The people who get rich from a shift like this are not the ones with the best stock tip. They're the ones with the best system. And that's the real gap between the 1% and everybody else. It was never really just better information. It's a way of thinking about money. Yes, it's what to buy, but also how much? How does it fit together with everything else I own? And when it's working and when it isn't, what do we do about it? And ordinary people don't get taught this. And that's the whole reason I run this channel. I used to be a banker. I'm incredibly frustrated. People to have still don't understand this. Because the wealthy, either they get taught this from generations above, or they come in contact with really, really high-end bankers who teach
The System The 1% Uses
SPEAKER_00them this. So come and let me teach it to you. This Saturday, I'm running that free life event. How to invest like the 1% without being one of them. And I'll show you exactly what that system looks like. Now to apply it to any portfolio size, no matter where you are, whatever you're starting with, no jargon, no copy my trades, nonsense. No. Just the way the wealthy actually think about money, made simple enough to use the following Monday. So go to howtoinvest.org. Remember, the two is a numeral two. Uh link's below in the description as well. It might be easier. Um, and you can get yourself a free ticket. It's Saturday, 9 a.m. Pacific Time, it's 12 noon New York time, and it's 5 p.m. London time. So link's down below. And if you found this helpful, do me one favor. Send this to the one person who still thinks the rich just get better stock tips and the rest of us are kind of screwed. Because that was never actually it. And I think they deserve to see how this actually works. And I hope this has been helpful. And I hope to see you on Saturday. All the best.
